Build a Mosque
Uganda
A place of worship and community for a Ugandan village.

About This Cause
For many rural communities in Uganda, the nearest mosque is a long walk away. A local masjid becomes the heart of village life — daily prayers, Quran classes for children, and a gathering place in times of need.
Contributions of any size are pooled toward land, structure, roofing, carpeting and a sound system, with a build typically taking 6–12 months. Each masjid is sized to the community it serves. Give as a sadaqah jariyah — an ongoing charity whose reward continues.
