About This Cause
Across Kenya, Sudan and Tanzania, our partners work with communities that have never had a safe water point of their own. A well removes the daily journey to distant, unsafe sources and the illness that comes with it.
Each well is a borehole with a hand pump, sized to serve a whole village, with a local water committee trained and funded to keep it running. (Well type, depth and households served are confirmed per site; dedication plaques may be available depending on the location.)
