Water Well
A clean-water well that a whole village can draw from for years.
About This Cause
Millions of families in rural Uganda walk hours each day for water that still makes their children sick. A single well changes that — clean water within reach, freeing girls to stay in school and mothers to earn a living.
Each well is a deep borehole fitted with a hand pump and concrete apron, built to serve a whole village. A trained local water committee is left responsible for repairs and spare parts so it keeps flowing for years. A dedication plaque can carry up to 10 names — for your family or in memory of a loved one. (Exact depth and the number of households served are confirmed per site.)
